Aloha Good People
The first week of March 2020, before the world changed to this pre-zombie apocalypse that we now find ourselves living in (trust me this blog isn’t about doom and gloom, but I’ve spent 8 years of my life watching the walking dead, so roll with me), I had the chance to visit O`ahu. O`ahu is the third largest Hawaiian state, its name means “The Gathering Place”, and it’s capital Honolulu, is the most visited city within the Hawaiian islands.
I travel a lot, and in an attempt to not bore you with 5,000 word reviews of each trip, I will highlight an aspect that I really, really, really enjoyed from each of my travel experiences. As I'm pretty boring, you'll likely find a reoccurring theme over time, but we will cross that bridge on another post. So let's jump into the Best Thing Series- Sky Princess Cruise Ship edition.
If you are anything like me, when it comes time to pack, you're either trying to cram everything in a suitcase, or you have no clue where to start.
All Inclusive Resorts are great, unlimited food plus unlimited booze equals unlimited fun. However, the fun requires you to wear clothes, as sometimes your bathing suit just isn't enough.
Check out the handy guide below to help you pack.
While I wasn't in Grenada as long as I would have liked, I did manage to squeeze quite a few activities and excursions into my work trip. Let's get into a few of the things you can experience on this spice filled island.
Everything you need to know about Grenada you can find in this blog.
While the resort recently had its grand opening with Rock Star Royalty acts such as Marc Anthony and Lil Jon, I got the chance to spend a few days frolicking in the beauty that is the Hard Rock Los Cabos. Get into why you need to add this resort to your must visit list when you head to Los Cabos.
Kimpton Seafire Hello!
As I first entered the property I was blown away by the design. I felt like I walked into Beyonce’s living room of her Caribbean oasis, complete with the most beautiful Ikat rug and table configuration, large pool table tucked in one corner, ample seating space that scream boy whisper something sweet in my ear, and the views of the blue Caribbean ocean peaking in at you reminding you that you are not in Kansas anymore more, Dorthy you’ve arrived in paradise.
Air is tricky, and forever changing, so I try to do my due diligence and fly with as many carriers as logistically possible, to advise my clients on what they can expect. This is my second time flying frontier in the past two weeks, let’s jump into my top observations.
The recent announcement of that guy banning travel to Cuba left a sour taste in my mouth, as I recently got to experience the destination via cruise. Its a very culturally rich destination, with great people. For those of you who didn't get to experience the destination, feel free to rummage thru my recap!
Grand Cayman is British territory and the largest of the Cayman Islands; Cayman Brac and Little Cayman make up the remaining islands. George Town, Is the capital of Grand Cayman and serves as a business and shopping hub for the Cayman Islands, and is also a frequent port stop for many cruise itineraries. Georgetown also serves as a financial hub for individuals looking to bank excess cash.
I spent 72 hours on the island and my major takeaway is its incredibly safe. I walked, rode public transportation and explored with great ease and a level of safety I don’t encounter in many destinations. The people are genuine and warm, they stay out of your business unless invited into it. Many of the locals also warned me against excessive drinking when I inquired about bars and lounges (insert major side eye).
