Hey y'all hey!!!!
Are you aware of what you need in order to plan a vacation? We’re talking about right now, at this very moment, today. Let’s get into what you need to plan your 2021 vacation.
This resort first hit my radar last winter. I was attending a trade show and I met a gentleman named Ron. Ron boasted that his company had the best resorts within the Caribbean islands. I shrugged him off, I mean every rep thinks their company is the best, who am I to argue? Ron went on to tell me about their newest resort, Hammock Cove, and how it’s the sexiest, has the best beach, and their food and beverage service can’t be topped. I guess Ron sensed I wasn’t a believer. We said our pleasantries, parted ways and a few weeks later he sent me an invite to personally come and see the resort for myself.
There are several destination areas can reach from the Cancun airport. Today we will focus a bit on Playa del Carmen.
Playa del Carmen is a resort town 55 miles and 45 minutes (in good traffic) away from the Cancun airport. It’s located in the Yucatán Peninsula of Riviera Maya, and my fave street Quinta Avenida (5th Ave), runs parallel to the beach which is a block from this lively strip.
Listen, while traveling is rewarding, exciting, uplifting, and all the other utopia adjectives you can find, travel is also hella stressful. Below are a few tips to keep your travel related stress to a minimum, and guide you towards what items and behaviors should be “checked”.
I want to be totally transparent with you. I have a love hate relationship with flying first class. I’ve taken hundreds of flights over the years, and I can count on my hands how many times I’ve flown first class. It’s not that I don’t like the service or amenities, because baby I love it. Having a dedicated flight attendant, being served my beverage of choice, a light meal, free bags, complementary lounge access, and let’s not forget the big ol’ comfy seat. What’s not to love about first class?.
Aloha Good People
The first week of March 2020, before the world changed to this pre-zombie apocalypse that we now find ourselves living in (trust me this blog isn’t about doom and gloom, but I’ve spent 8 years of my life watching the walking dead, so roll with me), I had the chance to visit O`ahu. O`ahu is the third largest Hawaiian state, its name means “The Gathering Place”, and it’s capital Honolulu, is the most visited city within the Hawaiian islands.
I travel a lot, and in an attempt to not bore you with 5,000 word reviews of each trip, I will highlight an aspect that I really, really, really enjoyed from each of my travel experiences. As I'm pretty boring, you'll likely find a reoccurring theme over time, but we will cross that bridge on another post. So let's jump into the Best Thing Series- Sky Princess Cruise Ship edition.
If you are anything like me, when it comes time to pack, you're either trying to cram everything in a suitcase, or you have no clue where to start.
All Inclusive Resorts are great, unlimited food plus unlimited booze equals unlimited fun. However, the fun requires you to wear clothes, as sometimes your bathing suit just isn't enough.
Check out the handy guide below to help you pack.
While I wasn't in Grenada as long as I would have liked, I did manage to squeeze quite a few activities and excursions into my work trip. Let's get into a few of the things you can experience on this spice filled island.
